Yesterday Presidential Candidate Joe Biden chose Kamala Harris as is Vice President running mate. Now I know there are rumblings about Harris’ past prosecutorial history. But what I say, who gives a damn about something that happened twenty-something years ago. My question to you is this: if you’re up for a job in 2020, would you want to be denied that job, based on the decisions you made 20 years ago? Wouldn’t you cry foul if the hiring manager came back and said that you didn’t get the job because you bungled a big project 20 years ago that lost your company money? Ludacris right?
Hey, let’s relish in the fact that she’s a woman of color. Let’s rejoice that she will be the first woman of color as the Vice President of the United States. She’s a role model to women of color who are often demeaned, downtrodden, and ignored. This is a strong Black woman, and I am proud and honored to have her represent us in this race.
Y’all lets unite behind these candidates. Our country is in shambles. We need decisive leadership. We need experienced leadership. And we need leadership that understands the plight of everyday Americans.
